 Office of the Department of Defence

The Office of the Department of Defence is responsible for establishing and maintaining defence relations between South Africa and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Areas of responsibility include:

 ·         Interaction with armed forces of the UK in the fields of military operations, logistic support, acquisition, procurement, technology, education and training.

 ·         Provision of support to the South African Defence related industry

 ·         Promotion of the image of the South African National Defence Force.
