The Office of Department of Home Affair's is responsible for providing South African (Civic and Immigration Services) in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

In an effort to improve our service to British citizens and other nationals residing in the UK who wish to travel to South Africa, the Department of Home Affairs has contracted VFS.Global, (a company that manages administrative and non-judgemental tasks related to visa, passport, identity management and other citizens service) in London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

All applicants carrying normal passports should submit their visa applications through the VFS;Global 

NB:  Holders of Diplomatic Passports who submit their applications under cover of a Note Verbal  and official/ service passport should submit their application at the South African High Commission. 

  PEOPLE TRAVELLING OR TRANSITING WITH CHILDREN TO THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA SHOULD ADHERE TO DHA DIRECTIVE AND ALSO DOWNLOAD SCHOOLS TRIP AFFIDAVIT AND PARENTAL CONSENT AFFIDAVIT FORMS

NB:
PARENT WHO IS NOT ACCOMPANYING HIS OR HER CHILD ON THE TRIP SHOULD COME IN PERSON TO DO THE AFFIDAVIT. THE AFFIDAVIT CAN ALSO BE DONE BY A SOLICITOR (NOTARY PUBLIC).
